I really appreciated that expansion and I think aside from the lag it gave some comps, it was really nice to hear the thunder, see the fog and go swimming in the ocean. Even in real life I'd go nuts seeing the same weather type 24/7. Seasons was an expansion I really wished was in the base game b/c I remember being so engrossed and then couldn't figure out what was missing.Then I realized I wanted my child Sim to be ready for the rain (cute rain boots) but then I realized there was no damn weather! The Clique or Group things can be annoying (haven't figured out to turn em off when my Sim is not on campus) but I liked the other stuff Universtity gave me:īowling alleys, Baristas - all of which I used to make my own cafes etc.
The thing is, even though you may not use those expansions for your gameplay they included objects that really enhanced it for other things.
